Hola my beauties! How are you??
I’m well — I’m finally settled back into my apartment. Having today off was truly much, much needed. I had a small feeling of anxiety that I hadn’t felt in a long time on my way back into the city. It’s not that I don’t love it here — but I truly am over school. I love learning…don’t get me wrong, but in many respects I don’t enjoy being treated like a child when I am anything but one.
Ahhh. Oh well … as the song says…life goes on.
My weekend was filled with a lot of delicious food — of many different kinds. Please keep in mind as you read this post that I DID, in fact, eat more than just chocolate and baked goods this weekend. 
Cupcakes are just way more fun to photograph than cabbage. 
My weekend was filled with:
Stephen’s Dark Chocolate Hot Cocoa (you may recall how much of this I drank over Christmas break…delish!)
PB toast — an ebony and ivory of sorts. 50% Mighty Mapes, 50% Dark Chocolate Dreams…. 100% Amazing.
A Valentine’s Day gift to mi madre. A chocolate covered strawberry cupcake (vanilla bean cake with strawberry jam inside, covered with chocolate ganache and garnished with a strawberry) and a white chocolate cupcake (dark chocolate cake with white chocolate cream inside, vanilla bean frosting and garnished with white chocolate curls). We cut ‘em in half and shared. 
DELISH. Sweet has yet to let me down.
Other than that I got some grocery shoppin’ done! I stocked up on some PB&C ($1.50-$2 cheaper in NH than in Boston!!). I finally found a Kabocha…that actually has a kabocha sticker on it, aaand oh, more espresso ‘cuz well…you know how I roll.
I’m off to enjoy the last bits of my day off, aaaand tune in to the prime time slot of the Olympics — though I’ll admit, I already know one of the outcomes because our local news was too excited to keep it a secret til tonight. haha

it’s funny, the labels on your cooking spray and banana peppers look like a store we have in NC called food lion haha. and enjoy that espresso, it’s the BEST kind.
sadly, no day off today. days off are usually spent bumming though.

in hampstead at hannaford. in boston, it can go for as much as 5.50 and it was only 3 something at hannaford! crazzziness!
i am thoroughly jealous of your mighty maple- still can’t find that anywhere. and dark hot chocolate sounds awesome

i totally have my mom to thank for that one! she CALLED me from the grocery store and asked if she should pick me up some…of course I said yes!! haha and i might have done a little happy dance around my apartment while on the phone…not gonna lie. haha
Omg I loveee hannafords in nh- we dint have a lOt in mass:/ but I loveee hannafords now- they have a great organc and natural section?! But I didn’t see any pb and co :/ is it us the regaular isle or natural isle? Probs the regular isle! But lemme knowwww:)
I found mine in the regular PB aisle! I hate how different stores put stuff in different places! In Shaw’s it’s in the organics/natural sectionnn. They do it with Laughing Cow, too! Ahh!
girl! i just went to hannafords tonight in nh and i found the pb & co!! it was just in the regular isle and not in the organic section, ya never know with each store they are all different!
it was only like 3 something but i didn’t end up buying it but i will next time! i am thinkin the WCW next time!!

yay!! so glad you found it! seriously, they move stuff around so much! they say that there is psychological research as to why supermarkets are arranged the way they are…but honestly i would go in there and change it up!!! haha i have a WCW sitting in my cabinet — i am tempted to open it, but I don’t want to have too many open at once!!!
